We designed and developed a new website for CatchLog, a leading provider of fishing industry software in Australia. CatchLog's previous website had not been updated in several years, leaving it outdated and unable to effectively showcase their innovative solutions. Our primary objective was to deliver a modern, user-friendly, and visually appealing website that reflects CatchLog’s prominence in the industry while providing an intuitive experience for their users.
Project Scope
The core goal of this project was to design and develop a simple, fast, and intuitive website that effectively highlights CatchLog’s products and services.
Challenges & Objectives
Several key objectives of the project were:
- Build a simple static website to deliver critical information about CatchLog's products and services
- Design the website using modern design principles and techniques
Solutions Implemented
To achieve this, we chose to develop the website using Astro, a cutting-edge static site generator known for its performance and flexibility.
By leveraging Astro’s markdown content collection feature, we streamlined the process of managing and updating content. This approach allows CatchLog’s team to easily modify text, images, and other content without requiring extensive technical expertise, ensuring the website remains fresh and relevant with minimal effort.
