We're delighted to announce that we have completed our first project for our first client - Internal Spi.

Internal Spi is a family owned and operated contractor specialising in providing professional CCTV drain and pipe camera inspection services across Cairns and Far North Queensland.

TLDR

We successfully improved our client's Google PageRank score and Google rankings, thanks to significantly improved website performance.

After our SEO efforts, our client now ranks on the first page for many relevant keywords.

Project Scope

The team at Internal Spi approached ClickForge to revamp their website and migrate their domain name and Microsoft 365 accounts away from their previous provider.

Challenges and Objectives

Several key objectives of the project were:

• Create a more modern and user-friendly website design
• Improve website performance and accessibility
• Enhance Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
• Connect a Content Management System (CMS), so the client can easily modify content
• Reduce vendor lock-in for domain and email services

Solutions Implemented

Website Redesign and Redevelopment

Before developing the website, a mockup of the design was made in Figma and presented to the client for approval. Our primary goal for the design was for it to be clean, modern and user friendly.

We utilised Astro, a modern static site generator, to rebuild the website from the ground up. We also optimised the website's structure and content for improved SEO.

After redeveloping the site in Astro and adhering to SEO best practices, we observed a significant improvement in the website's Google PageSpeed score.

Content Management System

We chose Strapi as the CMS for this project. Our client can easily login to the admin portal of their website to modify content and upload media.

Search Engine Optimisation

We conducted competitor analysis and keyword research to guide the new website's content strategy. By incorporating keywords naturally throughout the copy of the website, we were able to better align the content to match searcher intent.

For technical SEO, we utilised Ahrefs to perform a site audit. Thanks to Astro's SEO-friendly nature, we easily achieved a perfect health score of 100.

Domain Name Migration

We transferred the domain to a new provider, offering more flexibility and control.

Microsoft 365 Migration

The client's email services were migrated directly to Microsoft, thereby eliminating intermediary vendors and allowing for greater control over email configuration.
