We created a fully custom e-commerce website for TeCrafted, designed to showcase their products with a unique, brand-aligned look. The site features an intuitive product selection interface and a streamlined checkout process. To power it all, we implemented MedusaJS as a flexible back-end solution for efficient product and order management.
Project Scope
Our goal was to build an attractive, functional storefront website that lets TeCrafted’s customers easily order products online, paired with a robust back-end system to manage products and orders seamlessly.
Challenges & Objectives
Several key goals of the project were:
- Build a modern storefront website that reflects TeCrafted’s unique brand identity.
- Prioritize user-friendliness and ease of use for a smooth, enjoyable customer experience.
- Integrate the storefront with a powerful back-end e-commerce platform for efficient product and order management.
- Optimize the website for performance and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to boost visibility and speed.
Solutions Implemented
To bring this vision to life, we built the storefront using Astro, a cutting-edge static website builder. We chose a fully custom approach over existing e-commerce website builders for a few key reasons:
- To craft a one-of-a-kind design tailored specifically to TeCrafted’s brand.
- To unlock advanced performance and SEO optimizations that website builders couldn’t offer.
- To ensure a frictionless checkout experience that keeps customers coming back.
For the back-end, we deployed MedusaJS, an open-source e-commerce platform. We selected MedusaJS for its flexibility and scalability—perfect for adding advanced features down the road and growing alongside our clients’ needs.
